Pacman replice - A movement study
In the first version Pacman and the ghosts uses arrays to create the paths. Enemies will check if there is anything blocking their way and make a random choice. In this way, enemy movements feel organic. Pacman has a basic movement system, where the program remembers the last input before a turn.
The other version is using Navmesh pathfinding system to move enemies. Player has a basic input system. This version does not have the characteristics of the original game. However, enemies will chase the player and run from it in the 'blue' mode. Like in the original game there is a bonus item fruit, they spawn according to players score.
